| My Mom and Dad met almost 50 years ago and were married Oct 20, 1962 |
| When my mother died, my father gave my sister and I each one piece of jewelery. I got her engagment ring. |
| My mother was my best friend and even though she died almost 14 years ago, I miss her terribly. She was a beautiful, caring person to all who met her. |
| After my mother died, I wore the ring everyday. On the day I went to a hockey game, I looked down and the diamond was gone |
| I have been heartbroken about losing my mother's diamond. I have not been able to tell my father as he would be crushed. I have always hoped that someday I could replace it. |
| I know this is not the conventional story here, but I thought I could give it a try. I don't think there is any other way I could replace it. I would greatly appreciate any votes. |
